The Angel's Painting
The Angel’s Painting 1Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony XDCAM, GoPro, Panasonic micBased on my screenplay, I gathered the cast, directed, and edited this film. To evoke a slightly horror-like atmosphere, I used a GoPro for first-person perspectives in Part 1. Some of my paintings are featured in the scenes, including an angel painting prepared specifically for this project.
The Angel’s Painting 2 Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony XDCAM, GoPro, Panasonic micAs Part 2 reveals the truth behind Part 1, the contrast in timelines between the two parts is crucial. I displayed the dates prominently at the start of each scene for clarity. Subtle editing hints that D (Komatsubara) is the key figure, and I also performed as P (Yamamoto).
The Angel's Painting Screenplay
From left to right, there are pages 1 - 10. I created this screenplay and translated from the original Japanese. (The Japanese text follows the English translation.) It was written for a film featuring Japanese actors. Inspired by rumors from my school’s art room, it explores the idea of what might happen if a painting were influenced by gossip. The short film is divided into two parts, with Part 2 revealing the truth behind Part 1.
